Reunions
IT’S ALL ONBOARD!!
A family reunion
group I did out of Tampa, FL on Carnival's ship, The Jubilee.
This is his email when he returned...
"Judy, the cruise was great.
All of the first timers really had a good time on the high seas. My
mom was especially delighted. It took me many years to talk her
into going out to sea. The chocolate strawberries and champagne
really "set it off". Thanks again for everything and working with
the family." DL
Message from a Cousin...
"Judy,
We had a wonderful time. I got feedback once we all got on the bus
and everybody enjoyed it, and wants to go again next year. If you
have any packages you can send me for our trip next year. We like
the 4 day cruise." GL
Everyone wants to stay connected to family and
friends – those bonds are irreplaceable. A reunion is one of the
best ways to accomplish that and the easiest reunion to plan is a
cruise.
REUNIONS HELP KEEP US CONNECTED
Why a cruise? Ships bring people together while allowing participants to enjoy
their own space. Cruising is a reunion dream come true.
With no meals to cook, dishes to wash or beds to make, everyone can
enjoy the reunion. Special arrangements can be made for a cocktail
reception and/or meeting space without any extra effort. There are plenty of cabins also, so there’s no worry about where
everyone will sleep or if there’s enough hot water for all those
showers.
Handicapped or wheelchair accessible rooms are available
upon request. Choose from a wide variety of cruises and destinations.
There are literally hundreds of destinations and daily activities,
with pricing to fit any budget. Consider a cruise that allows you to sunbathe in the Caribbean,
watch whales in Alaskan waters, scuba dive along the Mexican coast
or take a sentimental journey down the Mississippi River on a
paddlewheeler. You can even cruise the Mediterranean on a trip to
your homeland. Cruises for three nights, four nights or two weeks
are available. The combinations are wonderful. Onboard activities might include anything from ice-skating and rock
climbing to bingo. Many ships have pools, spas, casinos, nightclubs,
game rooms, libraries, and Internet cafés not to mention all those
wonderful deck chairs for reading, people watching or napping.
Supervised children’s activities and a variety of scheduled daily
events are nearly always available. There really is something for
everybody. Let us help plan your next reunion / cruise.
Here are a few tips to get you started.
1. Pick a venue easily accessible to all...whether by car, plane or train; easy access means greater
participation
2. Plan well in advance…ships fill early; once you have chosen a
destination, make reservations
as soon as possible
3. Communicate with your group…keep everyone informed of your progress; postcards are great
reminders and will become wonderful keepsakes. Enlist anyone in your group that is good with email and bulletin
boards
4. Include the younger members of the group, too…they can set-up a registration area, make name tags or scrapbooks
